Christina Emmanuel-DeLuna,

LPCMH, MS-MFT, M.Ed

Christina is the founder and CEO of Rising Hope Therapy.  She is a dedicated mental health professional with a passion for therapy and the healing it provides. Christina provides counseling services to adolescents, adults and couples. Her focus is assisting clients in changing unhealthy thoughts and patterns to overcome challenges in their lives, while encouraging and empowering clients to make meaningful changes and achieve the goals that they set for themselves.

Meet The Team

OUR INTERNS

Juliana Spannier

Julie is currently a second-year master's student in Counseling Psychology at Goldey Beacom College. This is also her second practicum experience at Rising Hope. She graduated from the University of Delaware in 2021 with a BA in Psychology, and over the past four years gained experience in various areas within the field. She has worked in inpatient mental health settings, group homes, and assisted living, serving individuals across all age groups, from 12 years old and up. Her experience includes working with individuals with severe mental illness, brain injuries, and disabilities.

Whether she’s helping clients process trauma, improve their relationships, or build self-confidence, Damara’s approach is rooted in empathy, empowerment, and a genuine desire to see others succeed.

Mildred Tibuah

Mildred began her career as a substance abuse counselor and quickly developed a passion for the mental health field. She observed that many of my clients were grappling with underlying mental health issues and had experienced trauma in their backgrounds.

 

For the past three years, Mildred has been working with clients who face persistent worries and struggles with self-esteem related to their mental health. Mildred Tibuah, has a bachelor's degree in behavioral science. Currently, in her final year of the Clinical Mental Health program at Wilmington University.  Mildred is committed to supporting each client on their unique healing journey by employing an interactive approach alongside cognitive behavioral therapy. She provides a holistic and tailored method to mental health care that aims to transform lives. Her primary objective is to meet clients where they are and establish realistic goals for their recovery and overall well-being.

Quinton Hartert

Quinton is a 2nd-year masters student at Goldey-Beacom College, enrolled in their Counseling Psychology program. Quinton graduated from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania in 2023 with a BA in Psychology. He then accepted a position with a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center in Maryland, which he is still a part of today. Additionally, he completed an internship with an extended care department that specializes in the treatment of men of various ages as they transition to living outside the care of a recovery center. During this time, he handled his own caseload of patients, providing both individual and group counseling to the men in the program. While the department focused on drug and alcohol addiction recovery, he also helped patients deal with issues related to anxiety, relationships, self-esteem, and boundary-setting. With Rising Hope, Quinton is excited to have the opportunity to gain further experience in the field of therapy. Upon completion of his masters, he hopes to continue his education by pursuing a doctorate in Clinical Psychology.

Damara Jones, M.S., B.A.

​Damara brings a wealth of knowledge and over 13 years of experience to the mental health field. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Women's and Gender Studies from Delaware State University and a Master of Science Degree in Psychology with a concentration in Forensic Psychology from Arizona State University. Currently, she is pursuing a second Master's Degree in Social Work to obtain state licensure, with plans to continue her education by earning a Doctorate in Behavioral Health.Whether she’s helping clients process trauma, improve their relationships, or build self-confidence, Damara’s approach is rooted in empathy, empowerment, and a genuine desire to see others succeed.

Dante Law

Dante Law has dedicated over 16 years to the mental health field, serving in leadership roles and working in diverse mental and behavioral health settings. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Temple University and a Master’s in Sport Psychology from Capella

University. Currently, he is pursuing a Doctorate in Sport and Performance Psychology with a

specialization in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Western States.
