About the Founder & CEO

“When we invest in our mental health, we not only transform ourselves but also build stronger, more resilient families and communities.”

Christina Emmanuel-De Luna is the founder and CEO of Rising Hope Therapy, a Delaware-based mental health practice dedicated to providing compassionate, culturally attuned care. What began as her vision to create a safe space for healing has grown into a dynamic community rooted in empathy, education, and equity.

As a Black, queer woman, Christina’s leadership is deeply personal. Her mission is to make therapy accessible, inclusive, and empowering, especially for those whose stories and struggles have been historically overlooked. She believes that healing is not a luxury, but a birthright.

With over 15 years of experience in the field, Christina brings both professional excellence and heartfelt humanity to her work. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor of Mental Health (LPCMH) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC), holding a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University, a Master of Education from Wilmington University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Delaware.

Her therapeutic style blends authenticity, curiosity, and care. Christina works with individuals, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, self-worth, identity, relationships, and life transitions—always centering their strengths and humanity.

Beyond her clinical work, Christina is an educator, mentor, and advocate for community wellness. She leads Rising Hope Therapy with a belief that when people heal, communities thrive.

Her guiding words echo through every part of the practice:

“You deserve to feel seen, be heard, and live a life filled with joy and healing.”

🌱 Because community thrives when we do.
