A Bit About Me
Hello! My name is Tyler Yoder, and I am a Master of Social Work intern at Rising Hope Therapy. I earned my bachelor's degree from the University of Delaware and am currently completing my Master of Social Work with a clinical concentration at the University of Delaware.

I believe meaningful therapy begins with an authentic relationship built on trust, curiosity, and compassion. My goal is to create a space where clients feel comfortable showing up as they are, knowing they will be met without judgment. Whether someone is experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, chronic illness, relationship challenges, or simply feeling stuck, I strive to walk alongside them as they discover their own resilience and capacity for growth.

My therapeutic approach is collaborative, person-centered, and grounded in each client's unique strengths and values. I draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness-based practices, solution-focused interventions, and trauma-informed care, tailoring my approach to meet each person's individual goals and experiences.
Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy spending time in nature, running, gardening, making music, and exploring how creativity and mindfulness can support healing and well-being. I look forward to supporting clients as they take meaningful steps toward living a life that feels authentic, purposeful, and connected.
