Hello, my name is Maegan Sanders, LPCMH

”Mental health is not a destination, it’s a journey.”
A Bit About Me
Heyyyy! My name is Maegan Sanders, and I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor of Mental Health (LPCMH). I obtained a BS in Mathematics from Kean University and an MS in Higher Education Counseling/Student Affairs from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.
I have a passion for supporting two specific demographics. The first being individuals navigating developmental transitions. This population is comprised of adolescents (ages 13+), college-age, and post-graduation individuals. The second is perinatal mental health. This population is comprised of individuals who are navigating pregnancy-related concerns, including but not limited to family planning, fertility, abortion, miscarriage, pregnancy, postpartum, and, as a bonus, I love working with parents and caregivers in all stages of their experience.
I am trained in PCIT, which is a parent-child treatment approach for children ages 3 to 7 who are experiencing behavioral concerns. This is a family-focused therapy that will have all parties participating.
Whether you’re a teen working through growing pains, a young adult figuring out your path, or a parent striving to strengthen family connections, I’m here to help. My goal is to create a collaborative space where you can feel heard, supported, safe, empowered, and have a little bit of fun (YES! I said fun).
I welcome individuals from all walks of life and strive to provide culturally responsive care that honors your unique story. I currently offer both in-person and virtual sessions and am accepting new clients.
If you're looking for guidance, support, and a space to explore growth and healing, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
