Christina is the founder and CEO of Rising Hope Therapy.  She is a dedicated mental health professional with a passion for therapy and the healing it provides. Christina provides counseling services to adolescents, adults and couples. Her focus is assisting clients in changing unhealthy thoughts and patterns to overcome challenges in their lives, while encouraging and empowering clients to make meaningful changes and achieve the goals that they set for themselves.


Christina works with a wide range of emotional and behavioral struggles. She works with client's of all backgrounds that may be experiencing a variety of challenges such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relationship issues, women's issues, grief ,conflict resolution, LGBTQ issues, adjustment to college and other life transitions (career, premarital/marriage, divorce etc).

Ayanna Nobles, MS

Ayanna Nobles is a graduate of Chestnut Hill College in Pennsylvania. She received a Master’s of Science in Clinical and Counseling Psychology with a Trauma Focus in 2014

Ayanna has also provided treatment via individual sessions and group therapy for adolescents, children, adults, and couples.

Bennita Wlliams, MEd, LMSW

Bennita is a Licensed Master of Social Work clinician. She has attended Delaware State University, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science, in Psychology. She also attended Wilmington University where she obtained her Master of Education, in School Counseling as well as obtained certifications in Children and Families Counseling and Mental Health Counseling. 


Tiffany Williams, MS, MSW, LMSW

Tiffany's has over 12 years of direct therapeutic experience working with families, couples, and children in various settings such as educational, in home based, partial hospitalization, and residential treatment facilities. Tiffany's approach to therapy is cognitive behavior therapy, mindfulness and client centered therapy.


Jote Rayner, LCSW

Jote is a licensed therapist who has over 10 years experience working with children, teens, individuals and families in settings from hospitals to homes. A graduate of Wesley college with a degree in psychology. She then obtained her Masters of Social Work from Widener University. 


Crystal has over 13 years of experience supporting adults within the mental health field. She has worked as a case manager, psychiatric social worker and mental health professional. She has worked in a variety of settings including a residential program, rehabilitation and healthcare center, an inpatient mental health treatment hospital, mental health clinic, and in the community.  Crystal's approach in therapy is strengths-based.Crystal's speciality includes adults, ages 18 and up, with anxiety and/or depression.She also to works with clients who have issues with self-esteem and weight management challenges.


Lindsay Stilwell, MS 

Lindsay Stilwell is a graduate of Penn State University with a masters in clinical mental health and rehabilitation. She has been working closely with individuals who struggle with anxiety,depression and trauma as well as individuals working through substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.


Crystal Alfriend, MS, MSW, LMSW


Tracey Smith is a Masters level therapist with a Master degree in Mental Health Counseling from Wayland Baptist University. She received a Bachelor of Science in Human Services with a minor in Business Administration from Wayland Baptist University. She is a mother of five beautiful adult children and married to her high school sweetheart of 38 years.


Leah Handwerk, LCSW

Leah is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. After graduating from Lycoming College with her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology on the Human Services Track with a double minor in Psychology and Painting, she went on to receive a Masters of Social Work degree from Bryn Mawr College, Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research. Leah is trained and certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and trauma-informed yoga. 


Tracey Smith, MS-MHC

Tianna Wagner,

Tianna is a Licensed Associate Counselor of Mental Health (LACMH) and a National Certified Counselor.  She graduated from Wilmington University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and later obtained a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University.

Office Manager

Miyah Emmanuel has a background in Customer Care Management, Healthcare, Billing, and Administration.

She is the glue that keeps the office running. Miyah also provides scheduling and billing services on behalf of Rising Hope Therapy. If you have any questions or concerns please email Miyah at the button below.  She will happily assist.
