Frederick Wing, MSW


Fred is a Masters level therapist who has over 15 years experience working with children, teens, individuals and families in settings from inpatient facilities, schools and also in the community.  A graduate of Wilmington University with a degree in psychology, he then obtained his Masters of Social Work from Widener University. 


Through his work he has assisted in clients struggling with dual diagnosis, mood disorders, anxiety, depression and anger. Fred has guided individuals who have been affected by trauma, substance abuse and various other stressors by identifying personal strengths, developing healthy coping strategies and problem-solving.


Fred has a therapeutic approach that promotes rapport-building, warmth and a nonjudgmental stance along with creating a comforting environment that allows the process to unfold organically.  Clients have appreciated his sense of humor and perspective as well as his understanding and insightful nature.
