Elizabeth Mittal, MS, PC
Elizabeth received her bachelor’s in psychology from Temple University in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. She went on to further her education where she obtained her Master’s in professional counseling from Rosemont College, in Bryn Mawr Pennsylvania. Elizabeth is working towards obtaining her License for Professional Counseling and Mental health to coincide with her 7 plus years of experience in the counseling and therapy field.
Elizabeth has a broad focus between children, adolescents as well as adults. Her experience includes inpatient, outpatient, drug and alcohol and mental health, and family counseling. Elizabeth has spent time working in school settings, providing therapy to children, and incorporating coping skills in their behavioral plans, as needed. She is well versed in many populations including, Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar disorders, Oppositional defiant disorders, substance abuse as well as co-occurring.
Elizabeth uses individual needs and case-by-case criteria in choosing her treatment approach. Her approaches include Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Humanistic Therapy, and Behavioral therapy. Elizabeth works attentively alongside her clients to figure out the best course of treatment that will allow for the best quality of life.
