Bennita Williams
Bennita is a Licensed Master of Social Work clinician. She has attended Delaware State University, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science, in Psychology. She also attended Wilmington University where she obtained her Master of Education, in School Counseling as well as obtained certifications in Children and Families Counseling and Mental Health Counseling.
She has been able to provide mental health services to individuals across the lifespan; children, adolescents, and adults over the last 15 years in the field of mental health, in a variety of different settings. In addition to working in acute care settings, her experience includes several years working with individuals and family members of individuals who present with various mental illnesses or dual diagnosis of mental illness and substance abuse, military experience, suicide prevention, HIV/AIDS, and homelessness. She is also skilled in providing family therapy and crisis intervention in the community.
